Scope

This page covers Gmind features that are already announced or confirmed for launch. AI generation, AI document parsing, and Gmind points are not announced and may not launch, so they are not commitments under these initial terms.

Privacy Policy

Explains what data Gmind handles, why it is used, how it is stored or deleted, and which third-party services may be involved.

Operator and data scope

Gmind is operated by Goo Co., Ltd, business identifier 90355410, registered address 3F, No. 66, Sec. 1, Neihu Rd., Taipei City. Contact and support: g_saas@googlegroups.com.
Gmind uses GooCoLtd SaaS accounts and Firebase Auth sign-in state, with gsaasUid as the service data ownership key.
Service data includes mind map projects, nodes, public / private status, hearts, favorites, reports, official messages, payment records, entitlements, and necessary operational records.

Use and storage

Data is used to create, save, publish, share, export, review reports, send official notices, calculate levels or limits, process payments, and provide support.
Primary service data is stored in Firestore. Public thumbnails are stored in Cloud Storage. Admin operations keep audit logs or equivalent records.
Current local structured import reads TXT, Markdown, or JSON and converts it into mind map content. Gmind does not store the imported original file, only the parsed content the user chooses to save.
After a user deletes an account, private projects and identifiable personal data are generally deleted or anonymized within 30 days. Backups may remain for 30 to 90 days until rotation.
Payment records, audit logs, reports, and moderation records are retained for 5 years for accounting, tax, abuse prevention, and dispute handling.

Third-party services and deletion

Gmind may use Google Cloud, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, Firebase Auth, PayPal, and Cloudflare for sign-in, storage, payment, security, and service delivery.
After account deletion, private projects are deleted or anonymized. Public projects are unpublished by default and deleted or anonymized within 30 days unless the user separately chooses to keep them public.
AI generation, AI document parsing, and Gmind points are not announced and may not launch, so this initial policy does not cover AI providers, AI training use, or point-data rules.

Terms of Service

Explains basic Gmind rules, public content responsibility, and service limitations.

Eligibility and service scope

Users under 13 may not use Gmind. Users aged 13 to under 18 need consent from a legal representative. Minors must also obtain consent before purchasing paid services.
Gmind provides tools to create, edit, save, publish, and export mind maps.
Users may create public or private projects. New projects currently default to public and can be changed by the user.

User responsibilities

Users must ensure their input and public content do not infringe rights, include illegal content, or expose unauthorized personal data.
Public content may be viewed and shared by visitors, and may appear in public lists, thumbnails, SEO metadata, or service displays.
For public content, users grant Gmind and necessary service providers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for public display, thumbnails, share links, search indexing, in-service recommendations, and Gmind / GooCoLtd SaaS promotion.

Service limitations

Gmind does not currently commit to real-time collaboration, complex sharing permissions, full mobile editing, file upload parsing, or any unannounced feature.
Features may be temporarily limited for maintenance, abuse prevention, third-party outages, or security reasons.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China, with the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.

Billing and Refund Terms

Products and checkout

Paid membership is a fixed-period purchase with no auto-renewal: 1 month NT$50, 3 months NT$120, 6 months NT$180, and 12 months NT$300.
Extra project slots are one-time purchases: small +10 projects NT$30, standard +30 projects NT$75, large +100 projects NT$200. Each account can buy up to +300 extra projects.
Checkout uses the GSAAS unified payment flow. PayPal is the first payment provider. Entitlements are updated only after backend verification.

Entitlements and expiry

The free baseline includes 10 private projects. Active paid membership removes the private project count limit and targets an action-history limit of 50.
After paid membership expires, existing over-limit private projects are not deleted or automatically published. To save an over-limit private project, the user must publish it or upgrade again.
Gmind points are not announced and may not launch, so these initial billing terms do not cover point packages, expiry, or consumption.

Refunds

Users may request a refund within 7 days after payment if paid entitlements have not been heavily used.
Fixed-period membership is generally not refunded pro rata by day, though support may handle special cases individually.
If refunded extra slots would put the account over the project limit, the user must delete projects or add sufficient slots before refund processing.
After a PayPal refund succeeds, the backend will revoke or adjust the corresponding entitlement and keep transaction and support records.

Public Content and Report Rules

Public content

Public mind maps can be viewed by visitors. Signed-in users can heart or favorite public mind maps.
Users can switch their own projects to private. If a project is blocked by admins, the owner cannot bypass moderation by republishing it.
Public content may be used for public display, share links, thumbnails, search metadata, in-service recommendations, and Gmind / GooCoLtd SaaS promotion.

Prohibited content

Intellectual-property infringement, illegal content, malware or phishing, spam or scams, unauthorized personal data disclosure, hate or harassment, sexual content, excessive violence or self-harm encouragement, impersonation, platform restriction evasion, and report abuse are prohibited.
Visitors or signed-in users can report public content. Admins review reports based on content and records; a single report does not guarantee automatic removal.
Admins may limit public display, block or unblock projects, ban or unban users, send official messages, and keep necessary moderation records based on review results.

Not included in these initial terms

AI generation and AI document parsing are not announced and may not launch. Before formal announcement, no AI provider, training-use, or prompt / source-text retention rule is promised.
Gmind points are not announced and may not launch. Before formal announcement, no point price, expiry, consumption, or refund rule is promised.
Enterprise plans, education plans, manual exceptions, real-time collaboration, and full mobile editing are not commitments under these initial terms.
